Cactus lives in the hot desert. Its thick stems store water for dry days. A lizard hides under the cactus for shade. At night, an owl perches on top to spot small animals. Each desert creature has what it needs - the cactus has sun, the lizard has shelter, and the owl has a hunting spot.
