Did you know that things move in different ways? Some things roll, like a ball. Some things slide, like a sled on snow. And some things can even bounce, like a rubber ball!

 

When you push something, it can move away from you. When you pull something, it comes closer to you. A wagon moves when you pull it. A swing goes back and forth when you push it.

 

We use pushes and pulls every day! You can push a door to open it or pull your toy closer to play. Pushing and pulling help us move things around!

What happens when you pull a wagon?

It rolls closer to you.It goes up in the air.It stays still.

What makes a swing move back and forth?

Pushing it.Jumping on it.Watching it.
