Melting Ice and Polar Bears
The Arctic is like a giant refrigerator for our planet, keeping things cool with its vast sea ice. But climate change is turning up the heat, causing the ice to melt faster than an ice cream cone on a summer day.
The disappearing ice is shrinking the polar bears' icy playgrounds, making it trickier for polar bears to hunt seals and raise their furry cubs. Some bears even end up drowning when the ice cracks and breaks beneath them.
