This amusing Halloween tale follows Giggle, an incredibly ticklish ghost who lives in a creaky old house on Spooky Lane. Despite his best efforts to scare trick-or-treaters, Giggle's ticklishness causes him to burst into laughter every time he tries to say 'Boo!' The story humorously explores themes of self-acceptance and unexpected joy, as Giggle's 'flaw' turns out to be the very thing that makes him popular among the Halloween crowd. With its vivid characters and entertaining plot, this story is perfect for teaching young readers about character traits, settings, and story events, aligning with CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.1.3 standards for first-grade reading comprehension.
