Friction: Inferences | Science Vocabulary (Grades 3-5)

Move students from reading to reasoning. In this one-page activity, each card describes a real friction situation, and students use the clues in the text to figure out what must be true — then underline the words that helped them decide. A great way to deepen understanding of how friction works while building a core reading skill. Ideal as a daily bell-ringer, morning work, sub plan, or reading center.
