LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. He had a challenging childhood, growing up in a single-parent household and moving frequently. Despite these difficulties, James excelled at basketball from a young age, earning the nickname "King James" for his exceptional skills.
James made history when he was drafted first overall in the 2003 NBA draft straight out of high school.
