LeBron James

LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. He had a challenging childhood, growing up in a single-parent household and moving frequently. Despite these difficulties, James excelled at basketball from a young age, earning the nickname "King James" for his exceptional skills.
James made history when he was drafted first overall in the 2003 NBA draft straight out of high school. Standing at 6'9" (2.06m) and weighing 250 pounds (113 kg), he combines size, strength, and agility in a way rarely seen in basketball. Known for his versatility, James can play and defend multiple positions on the court.
Throughout his career, James has won multiple NBA championships and MVP awards. Off the court, he's known for his philanthropic work, especially in education. In 2018, he opened the I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, providing education and support for at-risk children.
LeBron James continues to be a role model both on and off the court, showing young people the importance of using their talents to give back to their communities.
