Rights and Responsibilities

Help your third graders understand what it means to be a citizen! In this one-page worksheet, students read a short passage about rights and responsibilities, sort six examples into a Right and Responsibility T-chart, then match each right to the responsibility that goes with it.

The passage explains that a right is a freedom that belongs to you and a responsibility is something you should do.
