America 250 Chevron Pattern

Watch chevrons appear! In America 250 Chevron Pattern, the left half of an 8×8 grid shows bold red and blue diagonal bands, split by a dashed line of symmetry. As students reflect the bands to the right half, each stripe meets its mirror at the center and points into a chevron, giving a striking zigzag design for America's 250th birthday, 1776 to 2026.

This is the gentlest sheet in the series. The bands use whole squares, so students focus on reflecting color and position without flipping triangles, making it an ideal warm-up or an entry point for younger students learning about lines of symmetry.
