Desert Jerboa

The desert jerboa is a tiny, adorable creature that hops through the sandy dunes of the desert at night. With its long, powerful hind legs and short front legs, the jerboa is perfectly adapted for jumping and running in the soft sand. This nocturnal rodent has large eyes and ears, which help it navigate and find food in the dark. The jerboa's soft, fluffy fur helps keep it warm during cold desert nights. As you color this delightful desert animal, imagine it bounding across the moonlit sand, leaving a trail of tiny footprints behind.
