About This Game
This NGSS-aligned word sort activity focuses on how different organisms are suited for ocean life. Students sort 12 different organisms into three categories: Perfect Ocean Match, Can Manage Ocean, and Cannot Live in Ocean. The activity helps students understand why certain organisms thrive in marine environments while others cannot survive there. Through this classification exercise, students learn about specific adaptations that make some species well-suited for ocean life, while understanding why other species would struggle or fail to survive in this habitat
